Who Took the Dogs In?<\/strong><\/h1>\n\n\n\n


I live next to Cruella Deville. The people of my town are missing many of their
Dalmatian puppies. One sunny summer afternoon, I see Cruella on her front porch
sewing pieces of what looks like white fur with black spots onto what appears to
be a long overcoat.

That very night I hear noises coming from Cruella\u2019s property. I peer out of my back
door to see her dragging a young Dalmatian into her house, followed by a few
seconds of loud yelping, and then silence.

I decide that time is of the essence and I should not wait for a Sheriff to arrive, nor
should I wait until tomorrow to appear in front of a magistrate. I run to several of
my neighbor’s houses and tell them what I saw.

What I have just described is a lawfully issued warrant. I have witnessed cause for
a search and seizure. I have offered to my neighbors the what and the where, and
I have attested (affirmed) to them that what I have witnessed is a true event.

As in the concept of self-protection by the militia, the posse comitatus (meaning
the power of the county) comes into effect. There is no need to wait for an official
to arrive. The neighbors and I are the only officials required to approach Cruella\u2019s
house, request entry to search, and enter without permission if she refuses.

If I witnessed the above and did not seek out a warrant, which would further
enable her crimes against the Dalmatians of my community, and then if my
beagle went missing the following week (since beagle hide would make a fine
lining for a fur coat), then it would be my own fault if I lost my beloved pet
because of my inaction of stopping someone else from losing theirs.

If my accusation turned out to be false and I bore false witness (not just
misinterpreted what I saw), I have committed a heinous crime. It would be
necessary that I then be accused and prosecuted if Cruella (the victim) desired
legal action against me. The necessity of truth in accusations, and the willingness
to not only be witness to real crime but to also be willing to jury for justice, is the
staple of true freedom.

The people of the States have become accustomed throughout their entire lives,
especially in the last century, to believing that only someone wearing a badge is
to enforce law. Another problem is that too many people no longer care about the
law; in fact, they detest law. Laws are created regularly out of thin air and people
don\u2019t agree with every law created. They don\u2019t routinely follow the laws created
because they don\u2019t respect the creation of those laws.

Creating laws that label people as criminals, without them ever causing harm to
another, is at the root of this disrespect.

It is this disagreement with these laws that drives the people to hide in their
houses and not get involved when a real crime occurs. Much of the division we see
in society is caused by one person\u2019s opinion of \u201cthere ought to be a law\u201d in
opposition to another person\u2019s opinion that there shouldn’t.

The duty of those who respect natural law, accompanied by the duty to one’s
community, is not only to take action upon a crime when one is in progress, but
also to show up for court as a witness and face the accused.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
