I’ve resisted the system my entire adult life. I have always recognized that none of what Americans experience today is based on freedom, nor is it derived from liberty. I felt it deep in my bones that the system of governance we all suffer from does not equate to the present day speeches, nor the writings and quotes from earlier Americans–especially the founding fathers.

I began my present journey when the words contained in Amendment XIV, “subject to the jurisdiction thereof”, were pointed out to me. I began to research and recognized that the same language had not appeared before in the document; the Constitution for the Congress of the Union of States. Nothing contained within it placed the people of the states under the jurisdiction of the Union of States’ Congress.

I also researched and noticed that the legislation coming out of the Congress changed drastically after the addition of that amendment. The changes were subtle, they occurred over time so as to not draw the attention of the unaware citizens of the American States.

Incrementally, over decades, the thing which was to be encased in the ten-mile square of Washington D.C. escaped its chains and grew to what we now encounter today; an overpowering, megalomaniac organism, which we were forewarned of forming, centuries before.

I started getting more involved. I marched in the End-the-Fed rallies. I joined the TEA Party early on. I was very involved with organizing rallies, making speeches and even traveling to other towns to attend meetings there.

I watched in horror as the likes of Glen Beck and Rush Limbaugh facilitated the commandeering of the Party and infiltrated it with Republicans.

Standing at the rear of the last meeting I attended, which was a meeting of the local group I was most involved with, and after observing in previous meetings the progressive transformation of the agenda, an audience member made the statement, “We cannot reinvent the wheel, we need to rebuild the Republican Party from the inside”.

The meeting’s keynote speaker was instructing people how to become a precinct delegate for the Republican Party and ended by making the statement, “I think that President Bush was the best president we have ever had”.

The crowd went wild with applause and cheers. I stood back there with my chin to my chest thinking, “The TEA Party is over”. Within weeks, Beck and Limbaugh were calling it the Republican TEA Party.

So I started hitting the books. I started reading the old documents and I started studying the actual words of the ratified contract between the individual sovereign states. I believed that I could make a difference if I just put what I found together in a single source, and here it is.

I’ve been asked, “What is your goal by writing this book?” My goal? My goal is that every individual in these American States stops pledging to liberty for all and stops singing about the land of the free:

Unless they truly mean it.
